Lock for Z-wave
The product provides various functions to edit/add/delete lock codes, log entry of different users and wet temporary codes. Using the Z-wave version, the Z-wave hub requires software to manage these functions and they differ between the various hub-brands. For example, Samsung's SmartThings only provides a basic lock/unlock functionality and you have to do change or set the access codes at the lock - OR - buy additional software from a 3rd party developer. Some other hubs already come with the software and I expect from a consumer product a complete working solution without having to research, pay and install additional products to have full functionality. This critique is mostly towards SmartThings and the collaboration between Samsung/Schlage that needs improvement! The lock itself is high quality, looks great and works perfectly.
