Fast, Excellent Overclock and Low Heat
I run my processors in a distributed computing project which exerts 100% load 24/7/365. This processor is overclocked to 1.3v @ 5.0Ghz and runs that load 100% stable under a Deep Cool 240 Captain AiO water cooler reaching only 72c average.
Under lesser loads, like gaming, the processor is completely stable at 5.2Ghz and 1.37v but I have no reason to push it that hard.
I’ve been very impressed with the last several generations of intel processors. Under good cooling and with good MBs and PSUs, I have been able to get everything after the 6700 series to 5Ghz quite easily.
