Digital Pen, Great Deal
Best buy wanted $100 for the digital pen in the store. Much better deal and provides the same functions.

Photocontrol eye has only 2-3 year life
The photo eye has a short cycle life (2-3 years on average). The real problem is that an electrician charges a service fee of at least $100 to replace the photo eye. A person can replace the photo eye with an outdoor timer which will last many years instead.
