I don't know how long this unit has been out but there are bugs that even Magellan has not yet fixed. Map updates and program updates can't be executed because the unit is not always loaded properly into the computer. I had to return it to Magellan to update the program and maps. Magellan promised to have a fix out soon.
I miss the 3-D map feature found in other models. The "OneTouch" buttons can't be set from the address book and require the address to be re-entered from scratch.

A Lot of Bang for the Buck!
I got the printer a couple of weeks ago, so I really don't have a lot of experience with it, but so far I am extremely happy with the product and support.
It took a while to set up because I wanted to use it in an Ethernet LAN environment. The included software was unable to connect the printer to the network. I called Samsung support and was speaking with a tech within 3 minutes. We were able to quickly resolve the issue (IP address conflicts).
Pros: Included two-sided printing; print quality and print speed are excellent (it takes a while for the first print because the machine needs to warm up); there is a toner saver mode to reduce toner usage; it connects directly to a LAN without a print server; easy to set up all networked computers; outstanding telephone support both in terms of wait time and knowledge of reps (did not appear to be outsourced reps).
Cons: The Samsung Network Printing Utilities have bugs; first page takes long to print because the printer goes into standby mode and requires some time to warm up the fuser and other components.
I've owned HP LaserJets for decades, from a LJ-III to a LJ-1012, to do most of my B&W printing. I used an HP OfficeJet for faxing, copying, scanning and color printing. They were reliable machines and produced good quality prints. Unfortunately, HP decided not to update the drivers for these machines to work with Vista. Their inks and toners also were relatively expensive. I had to throw away over $100 worth of cartridges because they were programmed with expiration dates. That is when I swore never to buy HP again.
You might get a cheaper HP, Brother, or Epson printer, but you should consider the ML-2851ND Laser Printer for quality and outstanding support. This printer is suitable for both home use and a medium office environment.
Not the most sturdy spreader but great for smaller properties. A snap to assemble. Very light, since most parts are plastic. Will hold a full bag of fertilizer (5,000 sq ft). Highly recommended.
