Good Vacuum - poor APP
I have a cat. The Shark is great at picking up cat hair. Not so good with picking up dirt. I run the Shark 5 days a week. When I vacuum once a week with my Dyson upright, I still get a lot of dirt with the Dyson.
The APP is the weak point in the Shark. The APP says that with the first three runs, it will map out the house. I thought it would generate a more accurate map with each run. This did not happen. The first inaccurate map generated on the first run is still the one being used. I tried deleting the map and generating a new one, but this did not help.
I tell the APP to vacuum the Laundry Room, it does the job. When I tell it to vacuum the Guest Room or Kitchen, it gets lost and vacuums the Living Room.
Hopefully with a few software updates, the APP will get better in the future.
