Active Aqua 250 GPH Submersible Water Pump - hydroponics aquarium fountain pond

Weak for mid-to-large fountains
Specs said it had a max of 5.9 feet rise. I have a fountain that has a 3.5 ft rise and it is barely making it. I works fine but is underpowered for the rated use. It is maxed out so I have to live with it for now. I normally purchase pumps that are rated a minimum 300 gph in the past but took a chance with this one since manufacturer claimed if would be sufficient. I ordered a more powerful one to keep on hand knowing that this one won't last long. This is probably better suited for an aquarium or pond.

Somewhat noisy
Timer works as expected. The tabs are a bit sensitive on this type of timer so place them where they won't be next to furniture. They also are noisier than the Intermatic brand that I've used for decades. We'll see how long they last. Good price ]
