Good comic book stuff!
Pure comic book, so lets get that out of the way.
Threads of the story line may seem familiar, but if you allow yourself to just be immersed in the movie it is strangely highly satisfying - till it ends of course!
Looks good, moves at a fast pace and time goes by so fast that all the kids - whether they are 6 or 60 (and yes, probably, almost exclusively male) will happily join in the fun.
Better than average for its genre.

Adult Marvel?
1 of 1 found this helpful Darker themed Marvel adventure which younger viewers probably think is also duller because of it. On the other end of that particular knot, adult viewers will feel the intrigue is hardly deep enough and is rather transparent. But for a superhero movie the acting is pretty good even though all the characters have the Disney stamp very much to the fore.
But for its genre it is better than average and carries a 'Mission impossible' feel where the leads also get to wear their hardware. Sadly it is also a movie that fails to have any action scenes that reach the level of that particular franchise.

Nothing new done rather poorly
0 of 2 found this helpful This views like a merchandising promotion for a bunch of new toy products. A movie full of caricatures playing out roles on a path so well trodden it is like driving along a freeway at night, threatening your very consciousness. I can only imagine its target audience was actually pre-teen, in which case I suppose it might work. For anyone else its rather like a cross between the worse Transformer movie sequel and Battleship - which was universally panned but for which I now have a greater appreciation.
