Nice-looking light-duty
On the positive side, these cross bars are inexpensive while made to blend with the trim. They look like they came with the Pathfinder.
Looking at the higher-end products, aluminum bars often have reinforcement ridges inside. This product does not, the bars are hollow. Don't try to load them in the middle as they may bend. Good for light load, better if load points are close to the brackets. Also, bolts that hold bars in the brackets are threaded right through thin aluminum - tighten them very carefully or you strip the threads. The bars will not go anywhere thanks to the design, but they will move and rattle if not tightly secured in the brackets.
Overall, a product that worth the risk for occasional light to medium load. I am happy I got them for rare occasion I need to bring something long.
