Classic knife for a reason !!!
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a classic for a reason!!! I'm partial to stainless but the other models are just as good.
Great EDC, small & compact, strong, useable. good weight distribution, quality, comfortable in the hand....
Aesthetically....good looking and less intimidating (if that is a concern say in office environment).
The only downside is if you have large hands. it may not provide the best grip....a lanyard on the back might help.
There are way cheaper knives in this size, it depends on your needs....if you want something in your toolbox or to throw on the garden work table then get a throwaway. This one you can keep forever.

It just works
these are pretty much just a commodity these days. Don't even waste your time and energy on the thin plastic films anymore. These are super easy, provide better protection and don't scratch as easy......and the best part NO BUBBLES!

Viking replacement, works great, easy install and save lots of money.
Bonus....got one with the side cover and wire on/off arm. Not really necessary though if your old cover is still good. Mine went into a Viking 42 inch side by side. The ice maker mounts to the back wall. This unit is an exact fit with 3 exceptions. The filler section needs the back tab removed (about 1 min of work). The new wire harness was about 2 inches too short, I just reused the old harness (about 2 extra min of work) and my old units on/off arm had a small extension (not sure if needed), so I just took it off the old and placed it on the new (about 1 min of work), The unit is metal just like OEM and not plastic like others may pass off as OEM. So for like 1/3 the price for the exact same unit I am very satisfied. Note that the original has no markings for model or brand, IMHO it's not manufactured by Viking but an add on made by 3rd parties just like the ones in every other refrigerator.
