Rogue Mahogany RA 090 Acoustic/Electric.
5 of 5 found this helpful First of all, this guitar looks amazing! The mahogany wood grain, color and gloss finish are absolutely flawless. Now, it's comparable (in specs) to the natural, white wood top Rogue in the same model. However, the mahogany top, back and sides has the price about twice as much... bit it is so worth it.
Secondly, yes this is a cheap guitar - but - it plays and sounds "better" than my expensive acoustic/electric that I already own. Yes, it needs to be setup in order to get the best action and sound. But so does any guitar. This is the second Rogue guitar I've purchased this year.
The manufacturer's final quality control inspection process needs some serious attention. When this guitar arrived, the electric tuner was pushed down halfway inside the body. Also, the neck's adjusting rod was sticking out toward the sound hole nearly two inches. It had to be tapped back up in the neck.
