EGW SS Melt Officer Bushing
I got this bushing for my Colt Officer ACP. It was the first bushing I’ve ever fitted and it worked out great. I was hoping it would just drop in but it didn’t. Made a jig to hold in my Shopsmith. Used strips of emery cloth and took a couple 1000’s off and light buffing, it fit nice and snug. The inner bore was just a hair snug but after a light buffing it slid right over the barrel. No binding like the original bushing had been doing. Greased it up and it’s all installed. Took about 2 hrs to fit. Great bushing. The only off comment is that the lines on the bushing don’t line up with the lines of the slide. With a small file one could match them real easy. I left mine.

The vest shrunk some after washing. It’s still fits it’s just snugger than my other one.

0 of 1 found this helpful Great magazine for my Colt Officer so I have 1 extra round. The only downside I wish the holes were threaded for an extended floor plate. But they can be easily tapped.
