Multiple settings for multiple results
I've tried other brands and I fall back on this Bread Maker every time. This one is actually a replacement for one that I wore out! The instruction book is more thorough including a breakdown of each phase and the length of time for each. If you want to add an ingredient in the second rising instead of the first, you can do it, it is that precise. Other Bread Makers have been loud with bells and alarms that don't seem to end during a session and this one is much quieter. It does still have the alarms but much easier on the ears. You can run it overnight and not be awakened by the "changing of the guard". The other benefit is the recipes are tried and true throughout the book. I've found it so easy to follow and the results have never failed yet. I still have several I have to try. Pizza dough, cake mixes, and fruit cakes have all been tested and the machine still amazes me with what it can do. This has been my Reliable sidekick in my kitchen for about 12 years and it's not going anywhere for a long time yet.

Lightweight and sturdy
It's been a little while since I purchased a carrying case so this one, being brand new, was more snug for the bells than I'm used to. Of course my first ones are "broken in" now! The case holds the 8 new bells plus the 5 additional bells to make the 13 for a full octave plus one. This is my fourth set that I've purchased and they are perfect for transporting and storing the handbell/deskbell sets. I'm really glad that I added the purchase of a case!

New Christmas Tradition
These are tall tapers and the design is very clear. It takes about 45 minutes to burn to the next mark and they burn with almost no scent or even smoke. I remember these candles as a child. My mother would buy them but I never knew how she found them. Advent seemed so special with a lit candle during supper. We took turns blowing it out and I felt very grown-up the year I was allowed to light it. It is very easy for a family to create their own holiday traditions around these candles. December 1st will be special this year.
