Further knowledge about Brian, the Ard Ri
Have read & own numerous, including 1st editions, of this author's historical fiction books, which have all indicated a grasp of the history. You can tell that the author has spent years with & considering the subject. Not finished yet, but, it's been an interesting read &, if you are interested in Irish history, I highly recommend consideration of this book, which tries to set historical context & provide & interpret historical references concerning Brian Boru & the Battle of Clontarf. I'm disappointed that it (as well as another recent book on Clontarf)) seems to be only available as a relatively pricey paperback/softbound - because I definitely tend to buy this sort of book in hardcover - & would say to look for it in a library, borrow it from a friend who just had to have it now - like me - or wait a bit to try to pick up as a used book at a discount.

All the hits & much more!
Great overview of their musical progression & provides a 'road map' of their career. If you're looking for a single cd to play their hits, this isn't for you because they are on different discs here, but the hits are here, as well as later output & some material I've never heard. If you are interested in an iconic group - that provided part of the 'soundtrack of my life' - & a fine booklet filled with a lot of discography info, some insights & some pics, this set is for you!

Gift that was highly recommended
This is a gift for my spouse, so I can't comment as to use, but internet research indicated it was highly recommended for the specific purpose. Good features (although I also had to buy another product for microwave heated use & as a cool 'backup' while this one is being re-cooled) & appears to be well made. Hope it meets the need.
