Light as a feather.
This case with the instrument and two bows inside is still much lighter than my old case, and provides more protection. The straps let me carry it like a backpack, leaving my hands free. No wonder I see more and more fiddle players using this style of case.

Plenty of wood to work with.
I don't remember what the original height was, but I cut it down to a 36 mm bridge. It works fine. At this price, I ordered another half dozen, so I could do some experimenting.
