- s***a (392)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseOUTSTANDING! Excellent old Stanley No 78 duplex plane, exactly as described. Unlike many of these older rabbet planes, this one had all parts -- fence (with bar & thumbscrew), depth stop (with thumbscrew), and even the nicking spur for cross-grain rabbets. Great communications. Fast, inexpensive shipping, was willing to combine shipping with another plane. Beautifully packed - just as well, the outer box was crushed and ripped by carrier (Amazon or UPS?), but the two planes came thru fine.

Must Have for the Canon EF 70-200 F/4.0
This is an original Canon product so it's designed to work with the Canon EF 70-200mm F/4.0 lens. You need a ring to use this lens with a tripod as the lens is too heavy and long to depend on the camera tripod mount. There are lots of options out there, but IMHO the Canon is the best one to use since it's not only designed by the same company that designed the lens, it's heavy duty and 100 percent metal, not plastic. The only drawback is the cost--over $300 list from Camera.

Very Useful
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this new on E-bay for less than $100 and at that price it is very useful. I wouldn't pay anything close to Canon's full price for it because that's way too expensive.
It's well designed and allows you to use two batteries in the 6D Mark II and also places the shutter release and thumb-wheel in the upper right corner of the camera when using it in a vertical orientation. That makes it a lot easier to use since the buttons are in their normal position.
The downside is it makes the camera very large and much heavier than it is without the battery grip. That can be an issue if you are walking around with the battery pack and a large lens.
Overall, it's useful at times, but only at a discount off of Canon's normally outrageous price.

My Favorite Lens
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this lens! It's focal length and wide aperture make it easy to blur out backgrounds whether you are taking portraits of of people or pets. It's even useful in some types of landscape and general photography when you want to isolate a particular point of your composition from others.
