Have a Security System or DVR - this is the way to go.

Needed a drive for a security system. Very few manufacturers come close to Seagate much less match it. Quiet, durable and meant for 24/7 duty. This is the best.

This is a very good phone for the non iPhone / Android business crowd.

The BlackBerry 8830 World Phone is a legacy device. The operating system cannot be updated to anything modern. It is no longer supported officially - though there are many ways to get assistance if you run into problems. If you are looking for an Android / iPhone alternative - Stop. Turn around and go somewhere else. However, if you are looking for a solid (can't break hardware/software) calling, texting, calendaring and appointment keeping machine (especially with Microsoft Exchange or web-based IMAP email capabilities) then this is the phone for you. The QWERTY keyboard makes two thumb typing a complete and effective joy! There are very useful apps Gmail, Google Maps, Yelp, etc. available. If you are trying to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter - This is NOT the machine for you. It has no camera - which was a HUGE SELLING POINT for me (even more so as I could take the phone into sensitive locations without a hitch). It can surf the web - 2002 style I would call it. It has a SIM card and I've seen where some say it can't work in the US and others say it can. I would say this - Smaller carriers are accepting this phone and having no problems with it.
