A Good Deal
I bought this for the hitch pins after my pins mysteriously disappeared. I'll be able to use the hitches after my latest project is complete. Since thru axles are becoming popular, if you find the holes in the hitches are too small to accommodate the axle, the holes can easily be enlarged using a rat tail file.

0 of 1 found this helpful In my 40 plus years of cycling, I have owned only three or four pannier sets. They generally last 10 or more years before succumbing to the elements. I retired this one after its second ride. Good panniers should have an internal frame to keep the shape. It should have a strong backing to keep the bag from interfering with the rear wheel. The backing on this bag is flimsy and allows the bottom of the bag to bend into the rear spokes. The bags have a hook and loop, velcro attachment that is impossible for me to work without removing the rear wheel. Panniers should have a three point hook attachment system to the rear rack. Since this rack lacks an internal frame, the flaps on the main
compartment cover don't easily fall into place to provide the waterproofing seal. The price of these bags was about
half the price of a quality set. You get what you pay for.
