Obstructs firing pin block on the 92.
0 of 2 found this helpful The mount fits to the Vortex Viper perfectly. I’m very happy with how that part worked. Integration between the sight mount and pistol was a different story. It wasn’t until I had everything set up that I tried to dry fire and found that the firing pin block was prevented from cycling. This would not allow the trigger to be pulled completely back, so the hammer wouldn’t drop. This was the case in both double and single action. It is impossible to know exactly where the firing pin block was bumping into the plate. I spent a few hours shifting the dovetail block fractions of a millimeter trying to find the sweet spot so I wouldn’t have to mill metal from it. THAT part is easily done with a sight press. Ultimately, I needed to widen the pre-cut cavity for the firing block on the mount to accommodate for the actual location on the firearm. All I had was a drill, a tapered bit and a stubborn attitude. Maybe with better equipment (or someone competent running it) this wouldn’t be a problem. All-in-all, I hope that I just got “a bad one” as the product seems like thought went into the design and build.

Works well
For the price, it's hard to beat.

Solid build
It makes changing the rear sight a breeze. I don't see how I could be happier.
