Aggravating!
Supposedly doesn't work with satellite receivers...but it does. And it's easy as pie to hook up. That's the good part.
Bad part is it claims a range of 50 feet through walls. Nope! I actually ran the cables through one wall to eliminate it because the signal strength was less than half at only about 35 feet and it still was just barely over half signal strength.
Good news is, that move does allow it to work, sort of, but it drops connection every time. Sometimes it reacquires signal and sometimes it has to be manually reset by unplugging the receiver. Sometimes after 10 minutes it freezes, sometimes after an hour or two it freezes, but it always eventually freezes.
However, it does work....mostly. It's just aggravating and not what I thought I paid for.

Better than two 50 cal cans!
Can arrived a couple days early, which is always a bonus. Had a little dust and rust from the bottom of the one above it on the stack, but otherwise was in good shape. I'll probably go on and paint it just to make sure the rust doesn't spread, but the seal and interior are perfect.
Can is several cubic inches bigger than two, 50 cal cans combined, so if you want to dry store what would basically take 2 of those cans, these are a great option. Should have like 2 and a 1/4 the storage of those for only 2/3rds the cost of two, 50 cal cans..
Oh, and these cans are waterproof if the seal is in tact. They not only keep water out, but in. So be sure anything you put in them is free of moisture and/or temperature induced humility or it will rust on you.
All in all, I'll probably end up with another one or three.

Really Moves Material!
I bought this to repair a botched concrete job. Lots of honeycomb (voids next to forms) and high and low spots from bad screed work by old guys that flat ran out of gas before we ran out of concrete. This grinder absolutely moves the material. It cuts fast and flat. But you really have to pay attention that you keep the cutter level. It cuts so well that it will gouge before you know it.
I've done about half of a 4 foot by 8 foot stoop with 1 foot wide steps off of 3 sides, basically the equivalent of a 8 foot by 16 foot pad, and it looks like there is still about half of the cutting teeth left. So it should be enough to finish. Of course, I am removing a LOT of material. Much more than the average person would to dress up a pad for epoxy or that sort of thing. So I suspect it would easily do an average garage or patio job. And I'm using a constant flush of water to keep it cool as I work. Messy, but effective.
That said, these are well made steel grinder heads. They are heavy. So don't buy a 7 inch and run it on your 5 inch grinder just because the arbor will fit. Well, unless you just wanted a new grinder anyway. The weight of a 7 inch head will suck the life right out of a 5 inch grinder and you may end up needing a new grinder.
All in all, a good buy. Well made, cuts good, fairly durable and seems to be fairly well balanced. Just hope I survive it. Grinding concrete...not a job for old men. ;~)
