Inexpensive and does the job.
Inexpensive and does the job. Folds flat if you need to take it somewhere.

A catalog with more example plans is available if you search for it.
I actually ordered a later version of this booklet that has many more example plans, so this one is now redundant. I thought the second book was going to be completely different, but no. It is a good book as far as it goes. It is intended as a catalog for you to order detailed plans for the particular example that you prefer. There are more detailed plans available on the web if you search for "garage plans" and those are easier to understand when viewed on a 21" monitor.

Good switch but did not need it in the end
I bought a door micro-switch for my much maligned and 10 year old Maytag Neptune washer because thought it may be the cause of my problem. The washer would not spin the clothes at the end of the wash and they were still soggy - not good. I also bought a new wax motor as both parts were mentioned in on-line discussions as potential causes. In the end I could see that the wax motor was not allowing the door latch mechanism to contact the micro-switch at the end of its travel. Therefore the washer did not have the "door closed" permissive required for the spin cycle. I replaced the wax motor and the problem was gone. Each part was only about $10 so having both parts on hand when I took the washer cabinet apart was good insurance. I will save the micro-switch for next time or a different project.
