Two Attempts, No Luck.
I purchased a second pair of these for my tube buffer after the first pair died after a few months of little use. Thought it might be a fluke after reading such positive reviews. The second pair did the same, even sooner. Sound became very muffled then one channel quit. Three other brands of tubes I have swapped in and out have been no problem at all, so the buffer is not the issue. All equipment is run through a Furman PL-8C line conditioner and the entire two channel system is unplugged when not in use. When they worked the sound was smooth and detailed, but the lack of any longevity is a real problem. Will not try them again.
