About
I have been involved in model trains for a little over 12 years. I started out doing N-Scale then moved over to HO-Scale and starting a little Lionel O Scale. I am now exclusively modeling O-Scale. For locomotives I go with Lionel for everything else just whatever suits my needs.

N-Scale PRR SD9 Locomotive Review
This locomotive runs good and needs very little break in time. What is amazing is the detail. I call a SD9 or SD7 a GP7 or GP9 on steroids. I love the keystone PRR logo and how Atlas went that extra mile on the details. The front steps and hand rails are very fragile, so handle with care. My only beef with this unit is the Accumate couplers. They are ok but not nearly as good as Micro Train Couplers. What gripes my butt is the trip pins ( curved pieces of the coupler, I think they are suppose to represent the break hoses ). The Accumate versions truly suck. They can easily snap off. I think the least Atlas could do is make them out of metal.

N-Scale Georgia Cental 40' Box Car Review
Nice looking Atlas N-Scale Georgia Central 40' Box Car. I like the brown colored trucks and the detail. I was looking for some box cars to run with my Southern Railway train. Not allot to be found. If you are a fan of the Southern Railway and Central Georgia Railroad here you go.

Churchill Tank from Haynes Review
As usual another excellent Hanes manual focusing on tanks. Great articles, pictures and diagrams.
