BEHRINGER U-CONTROL UCA222 USB Audio Interface

Pure digital audio from computer to speakers

At 3½ inches by 2 inches the UCA222 is a compact interface that does exactly what I want it to do -- make possible a high quality digital audio signal from my computer to my powered speakers. Apple used to make possible a direct Toslink connection between computer and speakers, and I was disappointed to find that they took that feature out of the 2019 iMac. I used Bluetooth to connect for a while, but there was always a lag at the start of an audio stream. With this little Behringer device, I have USB to optical digital cable out and straight to my speakers. Best of all, it is very reasonably priced.

Perfect lighting solution

I did not have to spend as much as I thought I would to get a nice, versatile, desk-mounted lamp. It puts the light right where I need it and takes up negligible desk space. I am using an LED bulb in it. It gets warm but not burning-hot. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Recommended book

I am a middle school social studies teacher. I ordered this book to help me present information about major world religions to my students. The eye-catching photographs and informative text to a very good job of giving the reader a basic acquaintance with the essentials of each religion. I am especially glad to have this updated version. I only wish I could afford to loan one to each student while we are studying each religion.
