Content good despite breakage of cases suffered during handling
5 of 5 found this helpful As expected. Wife is a big fan and they are OK - especially compared to the tripe that passes for dramatic TV these days. The only issue I had was that the box was not packed with enough padding....to fully protect the plastic cases for the DVDs. Three of the nine cases had splits, breaks and other damage to them - which I mostly repaired with ample applications of Scotch tape. You shouldn't have to repair a product just because someone was careless or clueless about packing a breakable, fragile pro\duct for general delivery.

A good, gritty western
The era of the open range western cowboy was barely a generation long and this tale is about the end of that era. Both this rendition and the Selleck remake are excellent but I like the Marvin original slightly better. Get both! The book is also a good read!
