An essential Elton John album for any collector (or those who just love great quality music)
Firstly the original first press album is very hard to come by on vinyl at least in good condition. However this re-release, which has been remastered from the original analogue tapes is very good. The dynamics definitely shine through on vinyl compared to digital counterparts. While I can't comment on the differences of the original vs this remastered copy, the brand new unworn clarity coupled with a reasonable price tag makes this classic Elton John album (perhaps one of his best) makes for very enjoyable listening.

Chilled Alternative 80s
Wasn't aware of Mortal Coil back in the day. But if you are after alternative 80s give this a listen. Interesting accomplished sound. Chilled, with an epic undertone esp. Kangaroo.
If buying new the album itself is nicely presented in a gatefold cover and black sleeve. The vinyl is a decent weight and produces excellent reproduction.
