Product has potential, but the jury is still out

I purchased this monocular to take pictures using my iPhone at outdoor concerts. While I will be trying it out next week, it appears that the main issue will be keeping it steady. I was worried about having a dark circle around my photos, but noticed that if I zoomed the iPhone a bit, it cut those dark edges out. The other thing I noticed is how hard it is to focus the Gosky while looking at the phone display. You can get close, but not perfect. What I found works best is to focus it by looking through the Gosky first, and then connecting the iPhone. I am hopeful that I will be able to get some good photos at next week's concert.
