Just okay
I had something different in mind when purchasing the hat. I wanted to replace one I have had for years that looks similar. Unfortunately, a photograph cannot capture fabric, fit, and build quality. This one is flimsy. That said, maybe it should have been apparent with a little more scrutiny. I don't think it is at all misrepresented.

Takes the lead out
3 of 5 found this helpful I have an old house, and didn't want to trust a test kit. So, I decided I would simply filter all my drinking water. I actually have two pictures. One uses a standard Brita filter and the other one has the long last version. Why? Because neither filter takes out all of the dangerous medals. So I filter in one picture and then pour it into the other. I'm not quite clear why Britta doesn't make a filter that takes care of everything.

OEM part - "only" as good as the original.
This is an OEM snubber and it's identical to the one I removed from the Frigidaire top loading washing machine. My only gripe is that the design is less than brilliant, which is why my last one needed to be replaced. The Teflon strips on top and bottom are not connected to the ring body in a way that ensures that they never come out. Furthermore, there is a small gap where the strip ends meet. This is an invitation to snag and get torn out from machine motion. I was half tempted to fuse the Teflon strips in place. However, I was in a hurry to get the job done so I just installed it as is.
