Joan Nathan’s book on cooking for children is a perfect gift! A real classic! I used this while I taught cooking to my Temple’s religious school! Recipes are easy to understand for everyone!

A wonderful blender, that deserves it's top ratings by PBS TV cooking show!
2 of 2 found this helpful This was a gift for my daughter. She loves it! She freezes fruit and adds a small amount of juice and in under 30 sec. she has a fantastic & healthy smoothy! When entertaining, she makes margaritas to order for her guests. She makes crepe batter, and even custards! She also chops onions and other veggies for cooking, and she purees vegetable soups...zucchini is a favorite! This machine is super strong, super efficient, easy to clean, holds quite a bit of ice, fruit, veggies etc. Yet, even when only a small amount of ingredients are used, the machine does just as well! We both highly recommend this blender...just as good as a Vitamix...unless you want to make hot soup and ice-cream in the blender! I purchased this based on ratings and tests of Christopher Kimball of America's Test Kitchen and Cooks Illustrated...and he was right to give it a top rating!

Contemporary Elegance,
This is the third Skagen watch I have purchased. I find this watch very practical. It is water resistant, light weight, easy to read, has a seconds hand, and is a fashionable twinkle and gold accents on a silver background. This watch presents a taylored look, elegant and tasteful presentation and function in a very practical and classy watch! My last watch lasted for over 10 years. My daughter’s is doing quite well too. Batteries last three to four years. I highly recommend this watch!
