Really Does Save Your Nails, But Takes Practice
2 of 2 found this helpful This product really does save your nails. I recommend keeping this on hand for first aid reasons as well as for beauty. It has helped me heal from some very badly torn nails and even a fractured toenail bed.
However this product definitely is something you need to get a feel for. It took me about a year before I was able to make smooth almost seamless repairs. The most important thing is to apply the glue in a thin even coat and quickly dip your nail before it dries and the powder streaks or doesn't stick. If you apply the glue too thick, it clump up, take too long to dry and be uneven.
I suggest using two coats and I use it on all my nails to help keep them from breaking in the first place.
I have been using this product for years and I learned that the included file is useless. Just throw it away. The best files are Tropical Shine buffers in both the hard teal and the soft purple.
First use the hard teal to buff it down smooth, then smooth it out even more with the softer grit soft purple. After that apply a good top coat to seal it. Sometimes you can buff it all down again after the to coat dries and apply a second coat of top coat. This gives you the smoothest shiniest hardest surface.
Also I suggest buying two or three of these and putting all the powder in a better pot. Especially if you have longer nails and need a deeper pot to dip and press into. You need a nice, firm dip. If you touch the pot when you dip, it dents the surface of the application and can come out lumpy or dented.
Practice makes perfect. Once you get the hang of it this stuff is amazing.

Great Discounted New Old Stock
This is one of my favorite eyeliners and I am so sad it's been discontinued, but I was happy to find this listing and a big discount for slightly damaged packaging. The edge was barely peeled up and the eyeliner inside was brand new, never used, and only had a slightly irregular factory sharpened tip, that's not big deal. It's new and completely usable.
