Good quality

This awl is much better qualit than the dritz brand that I bought at same time. Good addition to my tool kit.

Quality not as good

I had this same dritz awl which I bought in a store 2 years ago. I put it through too much abuse and bent the tip, so I purchased another one. The quality has drastically gone down. The metal is rough and uneven width, narrow, them wide, then narrow again. The roughness catches on fabric. Very disappointed. Would not recommend it.
