For Antique Hudson's Bay Point Blankets

This is the only product I trust to restore these collectable wool blankets. I can't recommend this formula enough as I have treated dozens of vintage and antique point blankets with Eucalan and they all turn out great. Many are like new again. The lanolin acts as a natural conditioner that keeps fibers clean and soft while reducing static. The relaxed wool is much easier to work with after the wash, It's amazing! Some of these blankets can be over 100 years old and have dry felted nap. After using a teasel brush, the loft and softness returns and these blankets are ready for another 100 years of hard outdoor use! They will also shed rain water like a ducks backside after this. A huge plus for keeping you dry and warm. Thanks!

If you have any interest in Point Blankets or history of the Hudson's Bay Company during the fur trade this will be a great book to put in your collection. Nobody has done more research into Point Blankets than Harold Tichenor. The history and pictures in this book are amazing. Just like his other book - The Collectors Guide to Point Blankets. Five Stars!
