Great camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I read a lot of reviews about point and shoot cameras that cost under $150.00 And all of the reviews I read were right on. The Canon 1300 IS is a very reliable easy to use point and shoot camera that has basic functions and produces high quality pictures. I saw this camera new for $129.00. I didnt want to spend too much cash for the occasional picture taking so I kept it simple, and I am glad I purchased this camera. I did read in one review the shutter lapse time is a little slow, so you may miss some action shots. I tried this out and found this comment to be accurate. I think it is rated at a half second lapse time. However, its like anything, it's how much you want to spend. I could have spent a hundred more and not have had this feature. Overall, I would purchase this camera again, and I recommend it to people who want an excellent camera for little money.
