It was sandwiched between two 1” thick pads, then enclosed in a tight fitting box and taped close thoroughly on all sides. The condition was better than described. A++ seller I would highly recommend.

Great Cat Home
2 of 2 found this helpful The tree is very stirdy. It was a little difficult to install as the directions are somewhat hard to follow. The kitties love it. I was affraid they would not use it to scratch but they do. The do not use the little cubbies but love climbing to the top, and playing with the attached cat toys.
The material is not like carpet, but softer, and shinny.
