ABOUT TIME [DUAL DISC] STEVE WINWOOD
1 of 1 found this helpful Having grown up in the 60's and 70's, I was very familiar with the work of Steve Winwood in bands like Spencer Davis Group, Blind Faith and Traffic. His work in the 80's and 90's proved what a versatile musician he is. In this work he blends different rhythms (jazz, funk, latin, caribbean ) with his distinctive singing style.
The dual disc includes in addition to the audio album, 3 bonus tracks which include a searing rendition of Voodoo Chile (Mr. Winwood played on the original with Jimi Hendrix) and a live version of Dear Mr. Fantasy. Flip the disc over and view DVD with 3 live concert performances including the live performance of Dear Mr. Fantasy.
I thoroughly recommend this album. Everytime I listen to it I like it even more.
