Lasted a year and a half
4 of 5 found this helpful I bought this in March 2015 to replace my original Apple charger. I am buying another in August 2016 because the wires have frayed a little and it isn't charging anymore. I keep the charger in my backpack, so it is most definitely my fault for the condition of the wires. I will be using the slide-outs to keep the wires in a better condition this time. I think it's worth the low price compared to Apple's expensive charger (~$100) that lasted 4 years.
