Light and crispy without oily taste!
Drake's is the best batter I have ever had. Was introduced to product in 1980 by a Walleye fisherman in Ohio, and haven't had any other batter even come close in taste and crispness. I moved to Florida where Publix and Walmart do not stock this regional item out of Michigan. So now I order the 5 lb bag instead of the boxes. Make sure you mix it EXACTLY according to directions. Works best on fish, onion rings, pickles. Vegetables are hit and miss.
