Works great, buy one.
This flat out works on my pool cover. The cover retains less water than when using the hose. It throws the water over a 4 ft fence 15 ft away. Water drains below the bottom end of this spout, so it will not freeze in the spout itself. We have not had a freeze since I bought this, but it can't be as bad as having to thaw out the garden hose. Be sure to attach a pull rope to the pump as you won't have a hose to pull on. I also attached a thin pull rope to the lug on the spout that allows me to spin the pump to aim the discharge. I love this thing.

It fits. So I'm happy.
It fits my 1966 Ford headlight wiring harness connectors, so I can add relays without modifying the original harness. The red and white wires sort of correspond to the red/black & white/black wires of the original harness. The 16 gauge wire is same as original and heavier than some others out there with 18 gauge wire.

Won't lock into power driver
I was happy to find this dual purpose bit, however the Phillips end won't lock into my Milwaukee cordless screwdriver. It appears the groove is too far from the tip and it bottoms out before the lock will engage. The straight blade end locks in fine. Try one in all your quick change chucks before purchasing a quantity.
