Halo Hex Key 100/135mm Bolt-On Bike Skewer Set Front/Rear Road / Track Bike GOLD

Great replacement to older skewers.

I rarely get a flat so having a skewer that opens with a 5mm Allen that I always have in my seat pack was a no brainer to replace a broken skewer. Look good, easy to install, adds a little security when the bike is locked to a fence when we made mid ride stops.

Great product with poor instructions

I installed this in a D800 and really like it, problem is, instructions online are all wrong, none in the box. Search internet (DP Review is where I found mine) for correct instructions. I spent more time trying to figure it out & searching for good instructions than I did installing it. I will order one for my D750. Seems to be as well made as the original. Grid lines & auto focus still work. As a commercial photographer shooting products I like to know exactly where my point of focus is, this really helps. If you are old school and miss split focus buy one. I just wish they made one with a 45 degree split focus for my cameras.

Part is well made • mower design to hold it secure very poor

This part is exactly like the one that came with my Troy-Blt TB130 mower. Problem is poor mower design, the thing keeps coming off when you bump up against any stubs etc. and generally gets caught up under the mower and chewed up, I've ruined 2. I realize it's so you can get it on & off easily, just comes off way too easily. Just ordered a 3rd one that will be zipped tied to the mower.
