An acceptable second choice
I use a variety of robot vacuum brands for cleaning only mixed low pile carpet and linoleum, mostly unobstructed 600 to 800 sq ft. areas in a large dome-like yoga meditation hall. Front entrance lobby, shoe room, inner lobby, hallway outside bathrooms, and mediation lane areas. I used refurbished products because they seem to work as well as more costly new ones. I prefer Roborock S4's and above, but the Dreametech D9's seem to work as well as the Roborocks, and their mapping capabilities seem as capable as Roborock. A newly acquired refurbished Proscenic M6 seems to be working also, once I got past the mysteriously difficult log in on their app map. I prefer the white Dreametechs because people like the white robots, so I grab one when I can. The Proscenics are cheaper, so I may also be switching to them.

Roborock is my go to workhorse
I have a lot of territory to cover as a volunteer custodian at a university. After buying a Roborock S4 Max, I was so impressed that I'm committed to purchasing more as soon as I can afford it. The Roborock E4 is a compromising and more affordable step down as far as attractive app mapping options, but if performs an orderly zizag path, responds to magnetic boundaries, cleans well, is quick and easy app setup and light maintenance. What took an hour to vacuum daily now only takes only a few minutes.

Roborock Rocks, new or used
Roborock S series are excellent performing, affordable, mid-range workhorses that require only minimum maintenance, and work easily with the apps. All my purchases of these vacuums have been refurbished, and they all work like brand new. Each purchase has only increased my confidence in their quality. Finding a charger for this purchase was no problem since parts are plentiful and affordable on many web sites.
