vertical adjustment crank is not smooth, has noticeable bumps

The vertical adjustment crank is not smooth. The cranking motion has noticeable bumps due to the nylon teeth on the vertical post. Each tooth represents a hard bump and it refuses to settle in between two teeth. This makes it very difficult (almost impossible) to adjust the horizontal laser beam to match some reference point because the post refuses to rest in some intermediate position between two teeth. I will probably buy another brand (probably a SIMA) that has a smooth vertical cranking motion.

thick gauge premium cables

These are ultra premium cables, maybe totally overkill. The copper wires are clearly of a heavier gauge than ordinary budget cables. I could have saved a bundle of money by buying budget high speed HDMI cables and chances are they would have performed just as well (because of the digital data you either get the whole signal or you don't unlike analog of old), but I'm a sucker for high quality tools and gadgets.

Stylish, so far so good after a week

So far so good, but it's only been a week. It's not possible to tell how well the rechargeable battery will take and retain a charge and how well the battery will hold up over several years.
