Poor Substitute for Available Wash Products
I have a Patagonia Down Men's Jacket that developed a few stains from various sources after 9 months of use. I had been using a mild detergent which seemed to work on most of what the jacket picked up. After trying the Nikwax Tech Wash I was very disappointed. It frankly was no better than the detergent, in fact in my case worse. I have tried other Nikwax products that I am satisfied with, but this one, in my opinion is a thumbs down! By the way, the jacket itself has not suffered any ill effects from using the detergent my wife uses for the rest of our needs. Just saying!! So for the most stubborn cases I guess it is to the dry cleaners.
