Better Than What Came With Trimmer
I don't know if this is the best string on the market but it is far more durable than the square orange plastic string that came with my trimmer. It lasts at least three times longer and that saves money and time replacing the string. If you have a tough cutting job I recommend this string.

Nursery Pots
3 of 3 found this helpful These are the thin plastic nursery pots. But they seem fairly durable. I got the 3 gallon trade size, which is actually about two gallons volume. But that is the size I needed and based on experience they should fit the purpose just fine.and last for years. A good value for the price for someone who only needs a few pots for plants or trees.

Buy Two
11 of 11 found this helpful Every family with a few square yards of open ground should purchase two of these, one to keep in the refrigerator and one to use as a learning tool.. Like so many things, you can't wait until you need food to learn how to grow a garden. It takes time and skill. The number of seeds in this package is enough for a good size garden. But you don't have to plant them all at once. Start small, plant a few vegetables this year, a few next year, and so on. Involve the kids, grandkids, or neighbor kids in planting and tending the garden. Then share the pride and joy of success with them.
Keep it small at first, make it easy, make it fun. You will learn the things you need to use the package from the refrigerator to help your family, neighbors, and the next generation if disaster strikes. And the kids will learn a little bit about nature, self sufficiency, and the value of patience and hope. We enjoy a fantastic society and technology. But our society has become brittle and we have in many cases forgotten how to live without technology. This is an opportunity to keep alive some knowledge of how to produce your own food. You don't have to go crazy but if you learn over a period of years how to grow each of the plants in this kit you will have learned a lot.
You can take the kids to a movie and enjoy a couple hours of passive entertainment. Or you can spend less than that on a couple packs of seeds and get hours of enjoyment doing something educational and fun with the kids and experience the joy of consuming your home grown, vine ripened produce. If you don't know how to get started, check out the book Square Foot Gardening or one of the many books available. Do this for yourself, your kids, your community, your health, and your security. You'll be glad you did.
