Excellent
Dyson does not sell this as a separate part and wants over $100 the entire canister. Make sure that you don't loose the existing spring!

Handy little adapter
This is one of those things that you never knew that you desperately needed.

Fit right in........
Exact replacement for an aquarium hood lamp, except that I opened it to change the direction of some of the wires. I didn't have to, but I am a little anal about these things.
Spliced it in, flicked the switch and the fish can read the New York Times, again.
