Much more than meets the eye
1 of 1 found this helpful The quality of this watch far exceeded my expectations. The crown has smooth action and winds wonderfully. The bezel feels great. Brushing/polishing shows fantastic workmanship. The sweep of the movement is better than my higher end Seikos and equivalent to Omega, Tag etc. The watch also has much more personality than expected considering watches of this style get a lot of flack for being "homage". In fact I have a hard time understanding why Squale and Steinhart are more championed in the community when they use the exact same dimensions and styling with simply different branding. Davosa are very easy to get a hold of and active in social media with their costumers which also makes you feel like you've bought into a nice little community. My advice is that if you love watches of this style but don't want to pay 2k-10k this will scratch that itch and will be a lot fun to wear.

Can’t take it off even with minor manufacturer flaws
4 of 4 found this helpful Saved a lot of money buying through these guys. Watch is stunning to look at and wears much smaller than the size would have you think. I have a 6.5in wrist and it does not feel like an “oversized” watch. Turtles are so comfortable compared to the SKX or Seiko 5 and the extra details go a long way. Love the hand winding and hacking. Only issues I have with the watch are issues you might might expect to see if you’re familiar with other seiko divers. Some extra play in the bezel rotation and a few imperfections on the bezel itself but I don’t mind. Also the crown action is a little gritty when screwing it in to place. Other than that this is the highest quality turtle I’ve seen and clearly has its own identity. Great buy
