Dahle 155 Professional Rotary Pencil Sharpener with Automatic Cutting System,

Best pencil sharpener that I have found

I searched for this type of pencil sharpener because we had one that worked the same when I was a kid almost 50 years ago. The spring-loaded grip pulls the pencil in while you crank with one hand and hold the sharpener with the other. Works so much better than suction cup style sharpeners that squirm away from you when you are trying to shove the pencil in and crank the handle. The blades are high quality and last for years. I bought one for our house and one for my wife because she is an elementary school teacher. After several years of use, sharpening thousands of pencils, the blades were finally worn out and she asked me to order her a couple more to last her through to retirement.
