Chrome plated plastic kit
I like this item for the amount of detail - this is not a kit for beginners. It is unusual for the fact that
it is molded in a silver "chrome" color which I do not really care for. However, I can easily paint
the kit to match my preference. I am not a fast builder on these kits and will sometimes take a
month or more to complete each one. A challenging item for the patient builder.

Best all around
This product is usually the most expensive, most difficult to apply, and requires dangerous chemicals for clean-up. BUT, when used by experienced modelers, this paint provides the best finish and effects that you will ever use. With that said, don't delay purchasing - this product is no longer manufactured and is, increasingly, becoming more and more difficult to find. There are several other brands of lacquer model paints and ALL of them are getting hard to find. You can still get some of these paints from regular auto suppliers and I have been visiting their sites as well.

Nice product - takes a little practice
These paints are superior to others as far as depth of color. They are very fast drying and require spraying closer than the recommended 8 to 12 inches. You can acheive a glossy "wet look" on your kits with a little practice. They are a little more expensive than other brands but you will be happy with the end results. My suggestion is - don't try to be cheap - usually one can will cover one project
