Ruger Mark IV (MK IV) (Mark 4) Wood Grips Half Checkered Cocobolo *Seconds*
Jan 19, 2018
Grips for Mark IV
I bought these grips for my Mark IV Target. I believe they might be Laminate but I'm not sure. These are the same grips that come on the Hunter model and are listed as seconds. For this reason they only cost about a third of what Ruger sells them for. They are excellent grips and knowing they are slightly out of specification, you still have to look awfully hard to notice it. Good grips at a good price that greatly improve on the feel over the factory plastic grips.

YTX20CH-BS High Performance - Maintenance Free - Sealed AGM Motorcycle Battery

Cost saving headache battery
The price was right compared to what I was going to have to pay locally & it does the job but the terminal connections are the worst I have ever seen. Clearly must be Chinese built by someone who has a serious grudge against Americans. The grooves that hold the retaining nuts in place are not wide enough for the nuts & even if they were it would do no good as the grooves are not tall enough. As you tighten the bolt into the nut & it gets tighter, it goes higher than the slot. I had to use a screwdriver held tightly against the side of the nut to be able to tighten the connections. But before I did that I had to bend my cable ends flat to get them to fit to the battery. I saved $45 over local price, not sure if it was worth it.
Hi-Viz LiteWave Fiber Optic Handgun Series Front or Rear Pistol Hiviz Sight

Fiber Optic Sight
There are many choices when it comes to installing fiber optic sights. The reason I keep purchasing the Hi-Viz front sight for my Rugers is simple. They are made of steel, the fiber optic tube is well protected and they are made in the USA. There might be some that are a little brighter but the light tube won't be protected as well.
