Tune it or die.
So simple, so helpful and so accurate. If it's good enough for the guys making their living on stage (check out videos of live performances these days), then it's got be good enough for me while I'm noodling away in the back room.

High Quality Output Jack for the GAS Transducer/Piezo Bridge Pickup
It's incredibly easy to connect this output jack to GAS's a high quality bridge transducer/piezo pickup. The pickup sits snugly under the bridge nut of your guitar or ukulele, it's easy to install, and it produces a nicely balanced signal from bass to treble - no screeching, no off-the- wall feedback, and none of the peripheral noises that surface-mounted piezo discs tend to transmit. With that bridge pickup and this matched output jack in place you've got an inexpensive but high quality set-up that converts your strictly acoustic instrument into a nicely performing acoustic-electric instrument - all without an onboard 9V battery back to worry about (though you can also easily run your signal through an active pre-amp if that's what you prefer). Nothing but top end and affordable Tone Monster components from GAS.
