Excellent optics for the price.
It will be hard to beat this scope for the same price. The cap to the battery was crossthreaded on mine and a chore to remove since the coating wanted to flake off easily and metal deformed under pressure from channel locks. The red & green lights are pretty much for show as the glare fills the tube, but do illuminate reticle a bit in low light conditions. Put mine on a marlin 60 and fired several hundred rounds after sighting in from various distances and it held zero. Range markers aren't completely accurate, but close enough for semi-auto fire. If you plan on using this for a .22 or similar you can't go wrong at this price. Wouldnt put it through vigorous conditions.

Good info, but too much on histories and other useless info for a field guide. A bit large to stow in the field without a pack.
