dented housing
0 of 2 found this helpful This product must have been dropped from a considerable distance. After opening the box, the Styrofoam insert was in pieces, the parts bag was open with loose parts inside box, and the disposal itself had a very large dent on the bottom edge. The dent is so deep that I am surprised that it actually works, but it does. However, it was supposed to be a new item and not a damaged item.

Works ok if you take the plastic oring off.
Could not get the jet into the housing. The plastic oring on the barrel part of the jet ad a ridge on it that stuck out to far. I had to remove the oring in order to get the jet in. I am a rental property manager and perform the maintenance on 5 hot tubs. This is the 4th of these jets I have replaced in the last three months so it wasn't operator error, and it was the first one that I had to remove the oring on. Works great once I took the oring off.
